Liebe Freundinnen und Freunde der Permakultur,
am Montag 25.1.10 um 19.30 findet unser Stammtisch wieder im Haus der Begegnung, Innsbruck Rennweg 12, statt.

Edith Kaslatter und Mischa Engele werden uns in Vortrag und Bildern von ihrem permakulturellen Einsatz im Kosovo, ca.100 km entfernt von Pristina, im Ländereck Mazedonien-Albanien-Kosovo berichten und über ihre Visionen sprechen.

Beide waren im Feber und August je eine Woche zur Unterstützung der Ordensfrau Schwester Maria Martha Fink (74-jährig, aus Vorarlberg), die für 350 Menschen Hauskrankenpflege macht, vor Ort und haben mit Familien an ihren bis dahin desolaten Umfeld und Gärten gearbeitet, mit ihnen Lehmöfen gebaut, Komposte angelegt, Kartoffeltürme geschichtet.
Sie suchen auch noch Menschen die für Kost, Logis (im Kloster) und Fahrtkosten heuer in der Karwoche mitmachen/fahren möchten, auch Spenden werden gerne angenommen.

Anbei auch die Berichte von Margreth Holzer über den EuropäischenPermaKulturKongress in Tschechien und den 9.InternationalenPermaKulturKongress in Afrika.

Und anbei auch eine Betrachtung darüber, ob ein Ereignis ein Glück oder ein Unglück ist.

Wenn alles gut geht, werden wir uns im Sommer in Frankreich oder in Belgien treffen.
Die Gespräche sind im Gange, wir (das Council) werden uns Ende Jänner treffen und bis dorhin werden wir dann auch mehr wissen. Ich werde euch auf dem Laufenden halten und freue mich, wenn wir uns beim EUPC 10 treffen!

Ich habe auch eine vorläufige Information über den IPC9 (November 2009) in Afrika beigefügt – ein deutschsprachiger Beitrag folgt.

Dear participants of the EUPC9!

We (the EUPC-Council) got the answer from France that they are interested to host the EUPC 10 in France or Belgium. They are just now discussing about and we will get the answer and their proposals within the next weeks.
The Council will meet at the end of January 2010.
If you want us to discuss a certain topic in our meeting – please feel free to tell us.

A short information about the International Permaculture Conference and Convergence in Africa 2009:

I just came home from the IPC9 in Africa (November 2009) – and I met also some European people there – we will have to tell you a lot about the situation in Africa and about amazing Permaculture Projects there.
The proceedings of the 9th International Permaculture Conference and Convergence (IPC9) are now on the website: http://www.ipcon.org. I added the official Report of the IPC9 in Africa 2009.
